The relationship runs deep, and the stakes are real. Westslope Cutthroat Trout are in serious decline across much of their native range, threatened by habitat loss, warming waters, invasive species, and altered stream flows. When the trout disappear, the bears feel it. So do countless other species that depend on healthy rivers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis bowl was created to honor both the beauty and the fragility of that relationship—a reminder that conserving wild places means protecting not just individual species, but the connections that sustain them all.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eBowl measures 3.5” tall and 5.25” wide at opening. Bear measures approximately 1.75” long and 1” tall. Each piece is handmade, making each unique and one of a kind. Bottom has maker’s stamp and individual piece number 3261. Grizzly and fish are all hand-sculpted and hand-painted. Trout are securely attached with wire, each suspended in their own little pools inset into the walls of the bowl. They sway when the bowl is moved, as if they're still swimming. A deep glassy blue glaze pools and breaks like moving water, lightening to a pale current-blue where it laps toward the rim. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll glazes are lead free and food safe. Hand-washing recommended.
