One example of the many plants that have a strong history of medicinal use.   It Is also considered a living fossil.  It’s genetic makeup unchanged, dating as far back as the Jurassic period, millions of years ago.  A resilient, hardy, survivor, even surviving Hiroshima.  Not surprising it symbolizes longevity along with hope and peace.  A reminder of the importance of keeping our forests alive.  Who knows what medicinal helper we might find next. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e8 x 7 x 5 inches\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 0.875rem;\"\u003e50% of the proceeds of this piece will be donated to Wildcare Foundation of Oklahoma to support their conservation efforts.
