We all love the manatees but do we truly understand what they need?

To protect the manatees is to protect the mangroves. These incredible ecosystems shelter so much life: the wood stork, Florida bats, and the snail kite rely on the mangroves for survival and safety. Beneath the water, the sawfish, Nassau grouper, and manatees also depend on them for protection.

Protecting one species means protecting the environment as a whole.
If we love the manatees, then we must love the mangroves too.
Every creature on this canvas is endangered. They may not be here much longer.
Let’s take a stand. Let’s make a change.
