About the organization:
The Right Whale Festival celebrates the annual return of endangered North Atlantic right whales to the warm coastal waters off northeast Florida and Georgia, where they give birth to and nurse their young. With less than 380 remaining, this family fun event raises awareness of the threats to right whales and how we can help in their recovery. The festival highlights efforts to protect these whales from extinction, as well as ocean-themed activities and exhibits that emphasize education and environmentally responsible adventures and products. Free Admission - Come early and spend the day! The Right Whale Festival is made possible through donations and sponsorship.
I have been going to this festival since 2021, every time people wander in off the beach and tell me this is the first time they have heard of these whales. I can see the impact of spreading the word happening in real time, on top of that the amount of love and education for these endangered animals that is generated here- every year is bound to be influencing them positively.
Fine Art shipping with tracking and appropriate insurance will be provided in this cost.
50% of the proceeds from this piece will be donated to the Right Whale Festival to support their conservation efforts. To learn more about their work please visit https://rightwhalefestival.com/
