Anne Runkle- Otter Mug

North American River Otters are native to Ohio but were locally extinct by the early 1900s due to habitat loss and water pollution. As apex predators, otters can consume high levels of toxic chemicals through their diet of fish and crayfish. River otters were reintroduced in 1986 by the Ohio Department of Natural resources and can now be found in 84 of Ohio's 88 counties. Their comeback after reintroduction has been made possible by conservation efforts to improve their habitat and watershed quality.

This mug has a capacity of 12 oz and is dishwasher safe.
