Joelle Cook- Heart of Birds

This papercut art piece highlights various species of birds that tend to form lifelong pair bonds. Wandering Albatross, Atlantic Puffins, Barn Owls, European Turtledoves, Eurasian Magpies and more are all featured here, forming the shape of a heart. The papercut is overlayed on top of a dark blue background.

A portion of the proceeds from this artwork will go towards the Puget Sound Bird Observatory, which is a group that hosts citizen science birdwatching projects and compiles bird data in the Puget Sound region.
