Joelle Cook- Redpoll with Cherry Blossoms

In this work, a Common Redpoll sits nestled among branches of cherry blossoms. The handmade paper has been dyed using watercolor and then put through the cyanotype process to create the dark blue shapes against the red-pink background. 

A portion of the proceeds from this work will go towards the missions of the American Bird Conservancy, which is working to help protect habitat and save birds all over the continent.
