“Explorer” is a 20x30” mixed media with oil piece featuring the Ethiopian Wolf. These beautiful creatures are often mistaken for foxes but their long, slender snouts and widely spaced teeth allow them to catch rodents that make up over 90% of their diet. The collaged text reading “Explorer” is well suited because although there are around 500 of this endangered species left in the wild, none of these are in captivity.
