Laura Shigemoto- California Native Flora B

This print features my original drawings of 9 different California native flowers commonly found in northern/central coast California. Each flower is numbered and corresponds to a key on the bottom which indicates its common and scientific name. Many of these flowers are based off observations in my garden, CNPS plant shows, and visits to public gardens. Plants 6 and 8 specifically were grown from seed in my backyard obtained from CNPS' San Diego chapter which helped me to capture accurate detail. This is also one of the reasons I've chosen CNPS to donate to, because they create access to seeds and large free databases about native California plants.

This art print is on enhanced paper poster and has a sharper more vivid quality than print A. The print has a slight curve, but will easily flatten out in a frame with no creasing.
