This piece, along with its companion painting, marks a deeply personal and therapeutic chapter in my artistic journey. After completing a large floral work that now resides in a close friend's home, I went through a period where my health wasn't at its best. Immersing myself in these two smaller floral paintings became a powerful source of healing. The creative process brought me a profound sense of peace, pulling my mind back to simpler times—much like the gentle, quiet rhythm of the bumble bees that inspired them. My hope is that this artwork brings that same sense of comfort and grounding into your space, while directly supporting the protection of the vital pollinators who need our help.
