Handmade ceramic mug. Holds 14 - 16 fluid oz
A mug inspired by the Monarch Butterfly’s incredible migration. Each fall, monarchs travel between 1,200 and 2,800 miles to find the right conditions to hibernate from early November to mid-March. My family cottage is right on their migratory path in Tobermory, Ontario! Sadly, monarchs are endangered. Habitat loss, pesticide use, and climate change all threaten their survival. By protecting milkweed (their host plant) and pollinator habitats, we can help monarchs continue their incredible journey.
50% of the proceeds from this mug will be donated to the Nature Conservancy of Canada, an organization working to restore breeding, feeding, and stopover habitats for monarchs across the country. To learn more about their work please visit NCC: Nature Conservancy of Canada
