Melissa Rohrs- Blue Butterflies Vessel

This vessel was thrown on the wheel before being hand-painted with six beautiful blue butterflies (okay, technically 4 butterflies and 2 moths). The species featured are: Blue Morpho, Four O'Clock Moth, Blue Tiger Moth, Mexican Bluewing, Common Blue, and the Red Spotted Purple. 

The outside is a complementary blue-purple. The inside is glazed in shades of denim and lavender.
