Accidents and Coincidences investigates the subtle connections between our inner life and the surrounding living world. The painting, by means of a constellation of symbolic beings, reflects on intuition, vulnerability and the invisible forces that shape our identity.

Instead of presenting fantasy as a flight from reality, these tiny beings express the range of emotions, memories and instincts that mark our passage through life. They propose that our inner landscape, like an ecosystem, is nourished by the coexistence of multiple voices and not by a single, fixed identity.

The work, conceived as a visual meditation, encourages us to see that diversity is not only a quality of nature but also an essential condition of human experience. By accepting this multiplicity we become more aware of the invisible threads that link us to ourselves, to others and to the living world.
