Dreaming Shell- The View / Black Clay Ceramic Curiosity Cabinet

Resembling a miniature Gothic window, this biomorphic curiosity cabinet feels as though it is looking back at you. Slender projections emerge from its frame in different directions, inspired by the stalked eyes of mollusks and giving the familiar architectural form an unexpected sense of life.

Designed to display miniature curiosities and keepsakes, the shelf is suitable for objects measuring up to approximately 1 inch (2.5 cm) in their largest dimension. It can also stand on its own as a sculptural object.

This cabinet is hand-sculpted from black clay, fired in high-temperature kiln. Other decorative objects shown in the photographs are not included. Handmade in a smoke-free studio in Brittany, France.
