A young cub takes his first steps through the alpine, hesitant yet curious, wrapped in the wonder of spring bursting into bloom around him. In A Beautiful Curiosity, I set out to capture that fleeting moment of pure discovery - the way young animals pause to absorb, to listen, to marvel. There’s a tender innocence in his stance, but also the quiet spark of becoming. He’s not merely wandering - he’s learning, sensing, awakening to the world.

Part of the Exploring Something New series, the process started with a layer of molding paste followed by many layers of acrylic paint.
