Vidhya Srijesh- Chins Up and Smile

The bond between a mother and her child is universal, transcending species and reminding us of our shared connection to the natural world. In 'Chins Up and Smile', I sought to capture a tender moment between a giraffe mother and her calf a moment filled with comfort, guidance, and trust.

Giraffes, despite their iconic presence and gentle nature, face growing challenges from habitat loss, fragmentation, and human activity across parts of Africa. Their declining populations serve as a reminder that even the most recognizable wildlife species require our protection.

This painting celebrates resilience, hope, and the enduring strength of family. Through supporting conservation efforts, we help ensure that future generations can continue to witness these extraordinary animals thriving in the wild.
